DETAILS:
Probably the Frenchiest way to spend Halloween. Parodying big budget Hollywood films such as Terminator, Pretty Woman, and Basic Instinct, this absurdist comedy has all the entertaining camp of a B-movie but with a distinct French sensibility (It is set during the Cannes Film Festival, after all)
☞THE MOVIE:
Odile, a sincere publicist, tries to promote a new horror movie at the Cannes Film Festival. The movie tells of a killer in a welding mask who murders using a hammer and sickle. The trouble begins when a real killer with the same m.o. begins knocking off projectionists at market screenings. – Synopsis
« Somewhere along the funniest French films » - Mubi

☞THE PLAN:
The screening will take place at 6:30PM at cinéma Luminor Hôtel de Ville, located in the area of Le Marais, by Centre Pompidou, preceded by drinks at 6PM. Tickets available online here: https://www.luminor-hoteldeville.com/reserver/ (please reserve early to avoid disappointment).
Covid-19 era sanitary measures, drawn up by French health authorities, include the obligatory wearing of masks, one empty seat between separate groups of spectators, the cleaning of the theatre at least twice a day, and buying your ticket online is recommended.
