The museums

Students and EU residents under the age of 26 are entitled to free admission to national museums and monuments in France. Many famous museums in Paris fall into this category, including the Louvre, Musée d'Orsay, Musée de l'Orangerie and Centre Pompidou. Don't forget to bring your student card or ID! Admission is normally free only to the permanent collections; temporary exhibitions are subject to a charge.

Some museums offerother conditions for free admission, for example, many museums are free to all visitors on the first Sunday of each month. The Louvre offers free admission on Friday evenings from 6pm to visitors under 26, whatever their nationality.

The monuments

Many national monuments in Paris offer free admission for students and under-26s. You can get to know Paris better with a free visit to the Arc de Triomphe, the Pantheon, Notre Dame Cathedral or the Saint Chapelle! To take advantage of free admission, you'll need to show proof of identity.

Lodgis Tip:

Free admission for students and under-26s doesn't just apply to Paris. You can visit a wide selection of other places in the region and the rest of France for free, including the châteaux of Versailles and Fontainebleau!

You can use the coupons for a visit to the cinema, the swimming pool, a sporting event, an exhibition and much more!
