ESN Bordeaux

ESN Bordeaux is the local section of the Erasmus Student Network (ESN), active since 2018. It works to welcome and integrate international students in Bordeaux, in conjunction with the city's higher education establishments. The association is run by volunteers, mostly students, who provide intercultural and festive support throughout the academic year.

Missions and activities

ESN Bordeaux's main objective is to promote student mobility and the social integration of exchange, Erasmus+ and international students. The association offers a wide range of events, including themed evenings, language workshops, cultural outings, discovery weekends, games, sports events and solidarity actions. It also runs the "Buddy Scheme" mentoring scheme, which puts local students in touch with new arrivals.

Membership entitles you to the ESNcard, a card giving access to local and European discounts, as well as to all the activities on offer.

Target audience and operation

ESN Bordeaux is aimed at foreign students (Erasmus+, exchanges, freemovers) as well as French students with an international outlook. Present on Bordeaux campuses, the association recruits new volunteers every year at student forums, and offers a survival guide to ease your arrival in Bordeaux.
