Sciences Po Bordeaux - Pessac (Bordeaux Métropole)
Sciences Po Bordeaux is a public political studies institute founded in 1948 and part of the University of Bordeaux. Located on the Pessac university campus, some ten kilometers from downtown Bordeaux, the school trains around 2,200 students each year. It is renowned for its high academic standards and its high selection rate, ranging from 5 to 12% depending on the admission route.
Training and international orientation
The curriculum extends over five years, combining a bachelor's and a master's degree, with a core curriculum in the humanities and social sciences (law, economics, history, sociology, political science). The school stands out for its integrated international programs (Germany, Spain, Italy, Portugal, the Caribbean, Hong Kong), offering a double degree. All courses include a compulsory year abroad.
