City tour: Montluc Prison National Memorial

Do you want to better understand Lyon's history during the Second World War? We'll take you to a place steeped in memory: the former Montluc prison, now a memorial.

During this free tour, you'll discover what this place was like during the Occupation, the stories of those who were imprisoned there, and the importance of memory today. The tour is guided, in French and English, and lasts around 3 hours.

Meet at 1.30pm in front of the Sans Souci metro station (Lyon 3e). This is a quieter activity, but well worth the detour to understand your host city's past. Open to all curious students.
