ESN CosmoLyon - Lyon (multicampus Lyon-Villeurbanne-Bron)
ESN CosmoLyon is the Lyon section of the Erasmus Student Network (ESN), a European network of student host associations. Founded under the name Cosmopolitan Lyon Club in 2003, it has been part of the ESN network since 2006.
Missions, actions and target audience
The association aims to facilitate the integration of international students by organizing more than 200 events a year: trips, cultural visits, parties, sports activities, a Buddy System, a goods market and local entertainment. It also offers the ESNcard, with discounts in over 40 countries and 1,500 partners, on entrance fees, meals, transport and leisure activities. These initiatives are aimed at both Erasmus students and French students wishing to discover international mobility.
Organization, membership and accessibility
The association, run by volunteers, meets mainly at the Maison des Étudiants in the 7ᵉ arrondissement and its office is located at 90 rue de Marseille. Today, it boasts an active community of volunteers providing permanences, on-campus welcome, and Erasmus advisory services. Membership is open to all students.
