Grande Mosquée de Paris - Paris (5ᵉ arrondissement, Quartier Latin)
Inaugurated in 1926 to honor Muslim soldiers who fell in the 1914-1918 war, the Grande Mosquée is the oldest Islamic site in mainland France.
Architecture, places and people
Moorish-style, with a 33 m minaret, Moroccan mosaics, peaceful gardens, hammam, tea room - the complex is open to visitors and often frequented by students and the curious.

- Summer: 9am-12pm & 2pm-7pm
- Winter: 9am-12pm & 2pm-6pm
- Restaurant: 11:30 a.m.-11:30 p.m. non-stop
- Prices: access to gardens & mosque approx. €3 for non-Muslims
- Accessibility: on one level, suitable for PRM, accessible via metro Censier-Daubenton (line 7) and bus
